|Miron Godlevsky was arrested in 1938 by the NKVD and charged with 'membership in a Zionist organization'. In 1939, he was sentenced to five years in forced labor camps. Sometime after 1939 he died in a camp in Kazakhstan, Chakalov oblast (Soviet Union). He was "rehabilitated" (his name was officially cleared) in 1957.
